Why live? Few, if any, know, but maybe, just maybe, we can begin to find answers by asking ourselves something else: How does one live well?
For that is an easier thought to ponder, and a useful one, too.
The poems in this theme tell us about life's worth, and how to make the most of it, for ourselves and for those around us. They tell us to help our neighbour, to take time to contemplate things, to cherish the world and its creatures, and to fully take in the wonder that is life.
It is in seeking to lead a better life that we best answer the question of why we should even be alive. For a life well led is no vain act, and justifies itself.
