What makes a home happy? What makes it happier?
In one way or another, taking home in its broadest sense, many a Five One editorial has addressed these questions.
And one answer to them is family. Family, sometimes of course a place of heartbreak, should be and often is a place of comfort and love and transmission.
This latest theme looks at family, and specifically the relationship between parents and their children.
There are infinite ways for children of looking at their parents, just as there are infinite ways of looking at your child as a parent.
But home is where we are warm. Love is what makes it so. And family is warmth, is love. When it is not, we are alone, and if it crumbles, whenever we can we must seek to rebuild it. For our first togetherness is with our parents, and it is our first contact with love.
